Woman and Dog Injured after Hitting a Telephone Pole

A person’s negligence can lead to accidents that could result in self-inflicted harm or injury. Furthermore, the resulting injuries can hurt not only humans but animals, as well, such as one’s pet.

A woman and her dog were both hurt after a Toyota Camry she was driving crashed into a telephone pole in Orange.

Emergency crews removed the woman and her dog from the vehicle.

The dog was brought to a veterinarian to receive treatment for an injured leg while the woman was brought to a hospital.

Animal owners should also protect the lives of their pets, not just their own, while they are traveling with them. The number of accidents like this one may be reduced if only drivers will learn the importance of following traffic rules that are being implemented by the state.
