An 18-minute chase ended up in a vehicle collision after a man hit another car at a Koreatown intersection recently.
Authorities say that the chase begun when the man allegedly pulled out a gun on police officers who were riding on an unmarked vehicle.
No one was reported with serious injuries though the speeding vehicle ran red lights and drove on the sidewalks which could have easily resulted to a pedestrian accident wherein he will also be accountable for.
Officials say he may be booked on charges of assault with a deadly weapon against a police officer.
Aside from this charge, he should face other traffic-related charges for endangering the lives of pedestrians and other motorists in the area by being a negligent driver.
